Chemical safety, proper management of
hazardous chemicals and wastes -- these are responsibilities for
EVERYONE working in the project site!
Specific WPM safety and environmental rules
include:

Binders
containing
Material Safety Data Sheet (MSDS) are maintained in the
project Construction Office.

Subcontractors
are required to present the Project Safety Coordinator with a MSDS for
EACH CHEMICAL
brought onto the project site in advance.

DO NOT
pour any chemicals onto project property, or into sewers or drains on or
adjacent to the property.

Handle, store
and dispose of all chemicals in accordance with MSDS instructions.

Make sure that
the proper Personal Protective Equipment is used when working with
specific chemicals. PPE requirements are listed on each MSDS.
