General Safety Rules for the project location
  1. All visitors MUST check in at the Construction Office.
  2. Contractor employees MUST complete the project safety orientation prior to staring work at the location.  This is done at the Construction Office.
  3. ALL workforce personnel MUST follow their employer's safety and OSHA compliance rules, as well as project-specific safety requirements as overseen by the Project Superintendent and Project Manager.
  4. ANY HAZARD OR UNSAFE CONDITION OBSERVED must be reported to the Project Superintendent or Project Manager IMMEDIATELY.
  5. DO NOT allow your company's employees to work in any area where a safety hazard is observed that could potentially affect them -- i.e. missing fall protection railings, unprotected floor or wall holes, etc. Report the situation to the Project Superintendent or Project Manager IMMEDIATELY.
  6. Personnel Protective Equipment (PPE) is REQUIRED for all workforce personnel:
    Hard Hats
    Safety Glasses & Side Shields as required for task
    Hard-Soled Shoes or Boots
    Sleeved Shirts
    Fall Protection must be used when proper toprails and midrails are not in place  when working higher than six feet off the ground or lower level
  7. DO NOT allow your company's employees to work in any area where a safety hazard is observed that could potentially affect them -- i.e. missing fall protection railings, unprotected floor or wall holes, etc. Report the situation to the Project Superintendent or Project Manager IMMEDIATELY.
  8. DELIVERIES OF EQUIPMENT & MATERIALS must be coordinated with the Project Superintendent.
